"The F-Series is a range of full size pick-up trucks from Ford which have been sold continuously for over six decades. The second generation F-series was introduced in 1953. The F1 became the F100 because of the popular culture influence of the North American F100 Super Sabre, the first supersonic fighter which first flew 1953. Increased dimensions, improved engines and an improved chassis were features of the second generation.
This fully restored example can only be described as impressive. The maroon and silver paintwork is superb and is complemented by cream seats and maroon carpets. The wooden load space is in good order and the chrome work gleams. We are informed by the vendor that this 5.7 litre Ford turns heads whenever he fires it up. He also tells us that the estimate for this stunning Ford is less than the restoration costs.
