Beschreibung

- Original 289 Cobra with complete history
- For 20 years in Germany, prior to that in Switzerland
- Listed in detail in the Cobra Register
- Excellent overall condition

Vehicle history:

In August 1964 this Cobra arrived from England with the SS Dintledyk in Los Angeles before Shelby America delivered the black and red vehicle to Galpin Motors Inc. in San Francisco. Exactly US $ 6,018.55 were paid by the first owner, Leonard James Bishop II from Wellsbourgh, West Virginia. Painted red around 1970, the Swiss Rolf Saxner discovered the sporty vehicle on a vacation trip in 1987 and bought it with a mileage of only 13,500 miles. It stayed in Switzerland until 2002 before it was sold to Germany in 2002 and to the last owner a year later. In 2002 and 2003 the Cobra was carefully restored in Germany and England and repainted in rare green, with the interior still original. All TÜV reports are available since 2004, almost 4,000 km of mileage are documented. Condition and function are excellent.

Fahrzeughistorie:
