Vehicle History:

This Aston Martin DB2 was ordered in 1953 by its first owner in the US as a left-hand drive in the Vantage specification. He then paid 1.284 pounds to Aston Martin. Only 18 more vehicles were built this way as a convertible.. To date, he has still his original engine, so the value-forming matching numbers. In 2000, the Drophead Coupé came back to Europe and was restored by its owner from Monaco in France. An invoice of FF 181,000 is available. In 2012, the current owner acquired it. In 2013, the engine was re-engineered by the renowned AM Heritage Partner Fa. Roos in Switzerland for around 80.000 CHF. In 2017, the rear axle followed. The vehicle is in excellent condition today and ready to join.

Dieser Aston Martin DB2 wurde 1953 von seinem ersten Besitzer in den USA als Linkslenker in der Vantage Specification bestellt. Er bezahlte damals an Aston Martin 1.284 englische Pfund. Nur 18 weitere Fahrzeuge wurden so gebaut. Bis heute hat er seinen originalen Motor, also die wertbildenden Matching numbers. Im Jahr 2000 kam das Drophead Coupé wieder zurück nach Europa und wurde von seinem Besitzer aus Monaco in Frankreich restauriert. Eine Rechnung über 181.000 FFr liegt vor. 2012 erwarb es der aktuelle Besitzer. 2013 wurde der Motor bei dem renommierten AM Heritage Partner Fa. Roos in der Schweiz eine Motorenrevision durchgeführt. Im Jahr 2017 folgte die Hinterachse. Das Fahrzeug ist heute in einem hervorragenden Zustand und bereit für die nächste Ausfahrt.
