Trade-in car. The Maserati Quattroporte (Italian for 4-door) was a design by Giorgetto Giugiaro. The plan was to make a fast long-distance limousine with heads of State, dignitaries and film stars in mind. For Maserati it was a highly successful model with 776 cars sold in all. At the time it was the fastest 4-door car on the market. Our car is a series 3 model from 1983 and currently has Dutch registration. This original car has only clocked up 95,000 km during its life. The interior trim (Cognac coloured) is still original factory issue and is in good shape with a fine patina. The original black external finish has seen better days. Specifically the paintwork on the bonnet and roof needs attention. Underneath the car is solid and devoid of significant rust. Mechanically the car is sound and driving it is a true feast. As the car has not been used a great deal in recent times, it is advisable to carry out a major service before taking to the road, after all everyone needs some TLC from time to time. This Maserati has a number of attractive extras including a sliding sunroof and air-conditioning. All-in-all this is an interesting proposition for real chauffeurs with its low mileage. THIS VEHICLE IS IN OUR STORAGE, VIEWING BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
