Gulbenkian, wife of the tycoon Nubar Sarkis Gulbenkian, famous for his Rolls-Royce cars and other special cars, and delivered by the agent HR Owen Ltd. in January 1962.

Registered in the UK with number plate NSG 3, with the owner’s initials and with number 3 since it was for his 3rd wife. Subsequently sold to two more owners in England.

After this period, the car arrived in the United States in the 80s and there it was acquired for a collection of classic cars in Barcelona, where it is currently.

Dawn Blue colour with golden lines. Blue leather interior, power windows, power steering, front seats and with the Countryman conversion option by Harold Ratford with folding rear seats. Equipped with air conditioning.

Very original, all its numbers have been checked, and overall in average condition. It needs complete professional restoration works. Mechanically in running order, but it needs improvement works and some elements should be repaired or rebuilt.

The chassis has no damage and no rotten parts, but there are oil leaks in the engine, gearbox and differential. For the professional repair it might be necessary to disassemble the engine, the gearbox and the differential from their housings.

Bodywork with no dents or damaged areas, with some pitting. The paintwork looks nice. The franchises on the doors, hood and trunk are correct and show that they have not been disassembled or repaired.

The bumpers with their original chrome in good condition with slight signs of use. The aluminum radiator grill is undamaged, it only shows the usual cleaning marks. The “Flying Lady” mascot is in very good condition.

Original leather upholstery, in good general condition with some worn areas, easily renewable with a tint. The wood on the dashboard and doors is in good condition although not sufficiently shiny.

The car has a copy of its Rolls Royce “History Book”. A small historical dossier will be included in the sale, with photographs and references to its owner Mr. Gulbenkian.
