Beschreibung

--Vermillion Orange with Black interior, Black carpeting with Black soft top, Rostyle wheels, 10,000 ORIGINAL MILES FROM NEW! 2-owners from new, 1.8 liter In-line 4 cylinder, 4-speed manual transmission, Multiple MG concours winner.

The MGB debuted in 1962 replacing the MGA. It featured a modern design including a monocoque structure instead of the traditional body on frame. The lightweight design reduced manufacturing costs while adding to overall vehicle strength. Wind-up windows were standard, and a comfortable driver's compartment offered plenty of legroom. The MGB was one of the first cars to feature controlled crumple zones designed to protect the driver and passenger in a 30-mph impact. 1980 was the final production year for the MGB.

This MGB has been meticulously cared for since new with only 2-ownerships covering 10,000 miles. The first owner kept the MGB until 2014 when it was purchased by a former president of the Long Island Jaguar owners club. The interior is a legitimate time capsule showing no signs of wear and in exceptional condition throughout.

This MGB has been shown multiple times at local concours events and has taken home many awards. It has always been garaged since new and the paint shows well throughout being highly original. This MGB retains its original luggage rack, dual chrome mirrors, factory installed radio and even its original convertible top showing no signs of wear. The only minor exterior blemish throughout this original 10,000 mile MGB are a few paint chips on the front of the bonnet.

Recently, this MGB received a full servicing including new radiator, thermostat, heater control valve, all new hoses and clamps, clutch master cylinder, all fluids and filters and new plugs and tires. It is complete with its original owner’s manual, factory repair/operations manual, spare wheel, jack, tool kit and tonneau cover. A classic and iconic British roadster, this MGB is ready for immediate enjoyment.
