Beschreibung

1965 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 Litre Coupe, Opalescent Silver Grey with dark blue leather. 4.2 litre inline 6-cylinder engine with 4-speed manual gearbox. Jaguar Heritage Certificate showing matching numbers and origin. This original and unrestored survivor E-Type was sold new to a US Army Doctor stationed in Germany in April of 1965. He would order this car at the Jaguar agency in Malta and take delivery at the Jaguar factory and drive the car to Germany. The following year the doctor sold the Jag to US Army mechanic James Stuber with the odometer showing about 12,000 miles. Stuber would own and cherish #30872 for the next 43 years! Today the XKE has just under 29,000 miles on it and it is just how it was in Germany all those years ago…a time capsule car worthy of a collection of artifacts and ready for a Preservation Class award…and today it drives just as an original car should, sublime. This fabulous E-Type comes with its Heritage Certificate, an ownership timeline, original tools, original service/operator’s manual and jack & hammer.
