The grooves on the bonnet and the chrome stripping on the boot lid disappeared in this year. The interior has had a number of improvements in terms of readability of the gauges and armrests were moved to allow for more elbow space. 1959 was also the penultimate year with these beautiful rear lights and the chrome 'teeth' in the grille which disappeared permanently in 1961 from the Corvette design. This makes the 1958-1960 one of the most sought after Corvette models. Production rose slightly to 9,670 units.

This car starts straight away, idles nicely, accelerates powerfully and shifts smoothly through all gears. The Corvette engine with 350HP provides enough power! Originally delivered as Fuelie (1/745), this makes this car very sought after amongst collectors and enthusiasts.

The car also has a hardtop (only a small percentage of Corvette C1s were supplied with one). The soft top needs reupholstering (the frame is there).

The 'Red' interior still looks very fresh as seen in the pictures, the Corvette still looks good in its Roman red coat. The car has whitewall tyres with good tread for the right look.
