Launched in 1959, the DB4 G.T. was immediately celebrated as one of the rarest and most revered of all Aston Martins.

Shorter, lighter, sleeker and with a more powerful version of the legendary 3.7-litre straight-six engine, not only was the DB4 G.T. Britain’s fastest passenger sports car, it was a born winner, scoring a debut race victory at Silverstone in the hands of Sir Stirling Moss. A total of 75 DB4 GT’s were built between 1959 and 1963. Of these only eight were lightweight models, most of which survive today.

Aston Martin Works – the spiritual home to the DB4 G.T. and Aston Martins since the 1950's – made history by celebrating one of Aston Martins greatest cars with a special series of 25 Continuation cars in 2017.

The DB4 G.T. Continuation saw production re-start for the first time in 10 years at our state-of-the-art facilities in Newport Pagnell and usher in two further Continuation models with the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation and the Goldfinger DB5 Continuation.

Now the very first example of a modern Continuation car from the brand is coming to market at the place where it was built – Aston Martin Works in Newport Pagnell – as the inaugural Aston Martin DB4 G.T. Continuation car is offered for sale.

Remarkable not only for its place in the brand’s modern history, this first DB4 G.T. Continuation model is also noteworthy in so far as it is being offered to the market with delivery miles only on the odometer.
