Trade-in car. The Mercedes-Benz W113 250SL Pagoda was only built during the 1967 model run and is therefore the rarest Pagoda. The 250SL’s total production came to 5,196. This particular example had stood still for 10 years in California, the USA, before it came over to the Netherlands, The car itself is sound enough requiring some attention. She has lost some her lustre but is still a good starting point to produce a very nice 250SL. The bodywork is sound but needs some seeing to here and there. There are some areas of early rust, but fortunately nothing structural. The paintwork is neat considering the car’s age, but would clearly benefit from being re-sprayed. All the car’s interior probably needs is a jolly good clean. This car is a so-called “California” edition, which was supplied with a hard-top but no soft-top. Due to the length of time the car has stood still, the car needs a thorough servicing. The engine is running but will need checking and tuning whilst being serviced. These days this kind of project is extremely hard to source. This car forms the perfect base to create your ideal Pagoda. THIS VEHICLE IS IN OUR STORAGE, VIEWING BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
