Cars International Heritage are delighted to present this Marine Blue Porsche 911 Turbo for sale.

Much of the Porsche 911's development had over the years resulted from Group 4 homologation rules, which spurred the development of 'Project 930', the legendary 911 Turbo. In production from April 1975, the Type 930 included a Turbo installed on the 3.0-litre RSR engine, a combination that delivered 260bhp for a top speed of 155mph. But it wasn't just about top speed, it was also the best-equipped 911 and amazingly flexible, hence only a four speed gearbox.

The Turbo's characteristic flared wheel arches and rear spoiler had already been seen on the Carrera model while the interior was the most luxurious yet seen in a 911, featuring leather upholstery, air conditioning and electric windows. The Turbo's engine was enlarged to 3.3 litres for 1978, gaining an inter-cooler in the process; power increased to 300bhp and the top speed of what was the fastest-accelerating road car of its day went up to 160mph, making it the definitive sports car of its era. 


Completed on November 1987 at the Porsche works as a US specification1988 mode-year and delivered new on December 31 1987 in Palm Beach Florida USA. Finished just as it appears today, in Marine Blue with Champagne leather and optioned with Limited Slip Differential, electric sliding sunroof, Dunlop Tyres, Alarm system and a Blaupunkt ‘Reno’ radio.

The Carfax (US equivalent of HPI) included in the documentation diligently tracks the mileage documenting the 42,080 miles on the odometer until the time it was exported to the UK and VAT paid in 2013. The odometer now is showing a total of 46,800 Miles.

Today this stunning 930 3.3 Turbo remains in superb original and unrestored condition, with factory finishes intact throughout.

The car has a superb feel of a car that has been extremely well cared for, backed up with a comprehensive service history. The interior is crisp, and the paint is original and virtually unblemished and Included with the car is the original Blaupunkt radio, Tool and Jack Kits, owner’s manuals and COA.
