AC Cobra MkIV offered for sale by Redline Engineering UK.

Delighted to offer for sale this incredibly original AC Cobra MkIV finished in ever popular British Racing Green.

Interior retains its original green leather interior with green leather bound carpets, gauges with AutoKraft logo’s, Mota-Lita factory fit steering wheel and wooden gear lever.

First registered August 1989 with only 1 owner who has lovingly appreciated his AC for 30 years.

Power is provided from the Ford 302 5.0 ltr V8 carburettor engine mated with Borg – Warner 5-speed manual gearbox, clutch exceptionally light making low speed rides comfortable when manoeuvring.

Wonderful spec including the following:

16″ Halibrand wheels with polished bronze centre lock wheel spinners, chrome stone guards, perspex wind wings & sun visors, 2 sets of keys, stainless exhaust system, full weather equipment (head rests still in it original factory wrapping), immobiliser.

History

Comprehensive history file including detailed exchange of correspondence between the owner and Autokraft (AC Cars) from the time the order was placed to collection including original sales invoice for the vehicle.

On file is the factory first service invoice, old invoices, MOT as well as old TAX disc’s, various individual correspondences as well as letters from the AC Owners Club.

Just completed full routine service by ourselves Redline Engineering UK and reporting a clean bill of health at 13,695 miles from new.

This without question is a unique Cobra that hasn’t changed from the day it left the factory, stacked with originality including interior patina, muscular V8 sound from the exhaust which you will never grow tired of.

The green paintwork has aged beautify however there are signs of micro blistering and aged light scratches to nearly each panel. Starts and drives as one would expect from a Cobra soaking up the roads or just equally enjoyed at a slower pace.

Incredibly rare to find a car as original as this AC, a unique platform to tailor a Cobra to your owner requirements or to be enjoyed as it is – either way you won’t be disappointed.
