Supplied from new by the Lausanne, Swiss, based Garage De Le Gare on the 25th March 1969 is this very fine Mercedes Benz 300 SEL. The Mercedes was sold to a firm and, as the fully stamped service book shows, was always maintained from day one by the same garage. In 2007 the car was deregistered, no longer used and went into storage. To date the car has only clocked up an accurate and certified 111,405 km. This is the W109 300SEL version, which has aircon, electric windows and air suspension. The car is in a superb and original state. The lovely bodywork has straight panels. The original underbody is rust-free. The condition of the paintwork and of the chrome decorative strips is fine. It has the original “Sandbeige Metallic 467’ finish with black leather interior trim. The car’s original interior has been correctly looked after and has a perfect patina. In short this is a very good and original Swiss 300 SEL with a complete and transparent providence.
