An exceptional DB5 offered directly from a world class restoration. First delivered in August 1964, to the Honourable Viscount Portman, previous owners have included a long-term enthusiast for some 35 years. Acquired by the last owner in 2014 for a total restoration carried out by highly respected Aston Martin restoration specialists which is now complete after 3 years of painstaking and meticulous works. The finished car is superb in every respect and has covered just minimal mileage.

A full body off restoration; the DB5’s chassis and body metal works were either carefully restored or replaced with new, prior to the body being prepared and re-fitted. Painted in Silver Birch to the highest quality before the cars reassembly with all restored, rebuilt or new genuine Aston Martin parts. The rebuilt engine which was rebuilt to 4.2 litre specification, retains its original numbers and stampings.

A bound history file accompanies the car, containing copies of the original build sheets, an original ‘Buff’ log-book, service, parts and restoration invoices and includes a photographic record of the restoration works completed.

A true Icon of Aston Martin’s history of car manufacture, the DB5 has since being immortalised by Commander James Bond, endured 50 years of service in 007 films and become internationally collected, with DB5s being found important collections across globe.
