Beschreibung

Purchased new by the first owner on 7th March 1984, Mr Abdullah Saleh, Chairman of the National Bank of Dubai, Bishops Avenue, London N2, via Aston Martin Sales Ltd

Finished in Salisbury Blue coachwork with Magnolia hide and automatic transmission

Maintained by the Aston Martin Works Service dept at Newport Pagnell for many years with service invoices on file from 1986, 1987, 1989, 1991 and 1993, by which time the mileage read just 8696 miles

Later maintained by Aston Martin expert Ian Mason, this V8 was dry stored for many years, used rarely and kept in a temperature controlled garage on Bishops Avenue, one of London’s most well-known and desirable addresses

Mr Saleh entrusted Chiltern Aston Martin to recommission the car in 2016 at a cost of £16,670 on various works which included reconditioning of the radiator, brake servo overhaul, new coolant hoses, new inlet manifold and vacuum hoses, new front wheel bearings, re-bushed front suspension, repair of rear brake servos, overhauled steering rack and major service etc.

Retained by Mr Saleh until his passing in 2018, the car was acquired by a close friend of the family with mileage reading just 9879 miles

Offered today with just 10,443 miles from new, this incredible low mileage V8 coupe is effectively a one owner car, indeed it is still registered in the first owners name, and is offered with original owners handbook with original service book, original warranty card, copies of service history, original tool kit and original Blaupunkt Cassette player

A rare opportunity to acquire a highly original, unmolested, well maintained, low mileage Aston Martin V8 presented in one of the best attractive original colour combinations
