LEATHER TOBACCO In 1985 the last modification was released for the R107, a new range of engines entered the market renewing practically all the engineering of the 107. This last generation retains the classic structure of the 107 but in its engineering it becomes a totally different vehicle, worth highlighting that in its outer part the small rubber front bumper is replaced and it has a larger one that follows the curves of the lower part of the doors, which gives it a more youthful appearance. Also 15-inch wheels. In its interior part the seats are a little wider and more comfortable.
The new engines, despite having a little more displacement, became much more efficient than their predecessors. And finally for the American market, the 560 SL was created, similar in structure to the 500 SL but with a little more power, important to satisfy the American taste.
