A fantastic 1969 Mercedes Benz 280SL Pagoda is now available to view. It was supplied from new by Mercedes-Benz, San Diego in November of 1969. It remained in the first owners hands for the next 27 years, until 1996! During this time the car was always dealer serviced and maintained to a high degree. All documents relating to this are present including the stamped service book. Mid 1996 the car was exported to the Netherlands and ended up with an enthusiast. He did everything possible to keep the car in pristine condition, with documentation in support! This Pagoda has never been or needed to be restored! The splendid bodywork is straight with perfect fitting body panels. The underbody is sound and fully rust-free. It has factory-fitted accessories such as; manual transmission, aircon, tinted windows, a dark-brown hood, full leather trim and a radio. Finished in the original colour scheme of ‘467 Sandbeige Metallic’ with dark brown leather trim and a recently replaced matching hood. This SL has her original and thus matching numbers 280 engine. This is a great example of an unadulterated 280Sl, with full documentation including the original service book and ‘Datenkarte’!
