Beschreibung

"The Morris Minor was designed under the leadership of Alec Issigonis and over 1.3 million examples were manufactured between 1948 and 1971. Initially available as a two-door saloon and convertible, the range was subsequently expanded to include a four-door saloon in 1950 and wood-framed estate, The Traveller, in 1952. These charming and very English family cars were a typical sight on the roads for decades and for good reason. Their simplicity, practicality and price made them extremely popular. And popular they have stayed although the ash frame has always been a weak spot.
Not here. This example has had over £20,000 spent on her in recent years covering the bodywork; the conversion to a 1380cc engine with five-speed (type 9) gearbox and up-rated brakes and suspension. With modernised mechanics, modernised wheels and tyres seemed appropriate in the form of Minilites. Comfy seats and a decent steering wheel complete the picture alongside an understated yet elegant colour scheme. Offered without reserve, this represents a good quality and well considered classic motorcar."
