Dessiné par le maestro Felice Boano et construit par la célèbre Carrozzeria Bertone, le coupé Afla Romeo Giulietta Sprint fut présenté en 1954 au Salon de Turin et son succès fut immédiat. Elégante et sportive, cette brillante auto a profondément marqué l’histoire de la marque et est devenue un véritable emblème pour Alfa Romeo. Avec une ligne d’une pureté et d’une élégance inégalées, ses moustaches chromées soulignent la légendaire calandre Alfa, ses petits feux arrière viennent relever sa silhouette et ses enjoliveurs chromés rajoutent une touche d’élégance. La planche de bord couleur carrosserie est des plus simples et conserve une finesse intemporelle. Trois cadrans ronds sont sous les yeux du conducteur avec le compte-tours au centre, rappelant les gènes sportifs de l’auto. Sous son capot on retrouve toute la force du constructeur milanais. Son passé de motoriste lui a permis de construire un moteur 4 cylindres en ligne 1300 cc qui présente une conception d’une modernité étonnante pour l’époque, avec une culasse et un bloc en aluminium ainsi qu’un double arbre à cames en tête. Volontaire et mélodieux, il développe 65 Ch et tire tout l’avantage d’un maigre poids de 850 kg permettant à la Giulietta Sprint de dépasser les 160 km/h, du vrai sport pour l’époque ! La Giuletta Sprint est un grand classique des sportives italiennes et est devenue au fil des années l’Alfa des puristes.

Notre sublime Giulietta Sprint 1300 est une Tipo 750B qui a vu le jour en 1959 avec le châssis AR1493.09540. Elle est matching numbers avec son moteur numéro AR1315.08053. Sa transmission a été modifiée avec une boîte à 5 vitesses type Veloce afin d’améliorer son utilisation. Elle est équipée de phares longue portée Carello chromés et d’un magnifique volant Nardi en aluminium et bois. Son intérieur bi-ton en skaï rouge et tissu blanc se marie à la perfection avec sa carrosserie. Elle possède toujours son autoradio d’époque. Aujourd’hui, le coupé Giulietta Sprint est une pièce incontournable pour tout authentique amateur de la marque. Elle sera remise avec son contrôle technique et une expertise en valeur agréée. La cote des coupés Bertone plus récents ayant explosé, celle du sprint devrait suivre prochainement. Je connais bien ce petit coupé rageur et efficace ayant remporté la catégorie Sport Menor B en 1999 à la Carrera Panamericana grâce à mon père spirituel Tony Rotondi.

Elegant and sporty, this brilliant car deeply marked history and became a real emblem for Alfa Romeo. With an unrivalled pure and elegant shape, its chromed moustaches emphasize the legendary Alfa grill, its small rear lights raise its silhouette and its chromes hub caps add a touch of elegance. The body coloured dashboard is one of the simplest and retains a timeless finesse. Three round dials are under the eyes of the driver with the tachometer in the middle, reminding the sporty genesis of the car. Under the hood we find the whole force of the manufacturer from Milano. Its motorist past allowed him to build a straight 4-cylinder 1300 cc engine with a stunning modernity in the conception for the period, with an aluminium cylinder head and block, and a double overhead camshaft. Willing and melodious, it produces 65 hp and gets all the benefit from a lean weight of 850 kg allowing the Giulietta Sprint to exceed 160 km/h, real sport for the period! The Giulietta Sprint is a timeless sporty Italian classic and became over the years the Alfa of the purists.

Our gorgeous Giulietta Sprint 1300 is a Tipo 750B that was born in 1959 with the chassis AR1493.09540. It is matching numbers with its engine AR1315.08053. Its transmission was modified with a 5-speed Veloce type gearbox in order to improve its usability. It is equipped with long-range chromed Carello front lights and with a magnificent aluminium and wooden Nardi steering wheel. Its two-tone interior in red leatherette and white cloth perfectly blends with its bodywork. It still has its radio from the period. Nowadays, the coupe Giulietta Sprint is a must-have piece for an authentic amateur of the brand. It will be delivered with its contrôle technique and an appraisal value. As the value of more recent Bertone coupes exploded, the one of the sprint should follow soon. I know this little furious and efficient coupe very well as I won the Sport Menor B class of the 1999 Carrera Panamericana thanks to my spiritual father Tony Rotondi.
