In 1961, Jaguar stunned the world when the famous E-Type was born. Like the XK before it, the E-Type was an icon in the history of car design, with an elegant, almost alien design combined with the latest technology, excellent performance and a price that was within reach of ordinary mortals. The E-Type appeared as a roadster, as a fixed head coupe, and as a 2 2.

The E-Type quickly became a sensation, and even today remains one of the most famous and beloved classic cars of all time.

The E-Type we are offering here today is a 4.2 Litre fixed-head coupe, finished in Carmen Red with a black leather interior. The car has had only five registered keepers since it was built in 1965, and has completed a total of just 55,000 miles, 10,000 of which have been clocked up since 1985.
