The Lancia Fulvia Berlina preceded the Fulvia coupé by two years, having been introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1963. It featured basically the same small displacement V4 cylinder engine, starting with the 1,098cc unit with a power output of some 58bhp in 1963 and evolving into the 2C (for carburatori/carburettors) in 1965, which produced 71bhp, making this version quite a sporty proposition for the time. Like the coupé, the Berlina proved popular on the race track and today it is regularly seen in historic racing and hillclimb events.
