It's been 50 years since Jaguar introduced the E-Type, and it is hard today to fathom the commotion it caused. Fifty years on, most major concours and vintage races are honoring this Jaguar in one form or another this year. This 1965 E-Type Fixed Head Coupe was manufactured in October, 1965. It has been restored to the configuration of the car that was on the stand at the Geneva Motor Show launch – opalescent silver gray exterior, dark red interior and European running lights.

Records with the car indicate that the first owner picked it up at the factory and took an extended tour of Europe. The first service was performed in Cannes and the second in Genoa. From that time it appears that the car spent its life in the Seattle, Washington area until purchased at an estate sale in February 2010. Service records indicate a complete engine and g
