An exceptional and very scarce silvered bronze car mascot, modeled as a mythical, winged "Bat-Man." Superbly detailed and signed "SASPORTAS" in the bronze sôcle and bearing foundry mark to the wing. Mounted on an ebonized oak display plinth. French, circa 1920.
Mascot length: 6 in. (15 cm). Overall height (on base): 8 in. (20 cm).
