Description

This one-off prototype unit requested by Ettore Bugatti by his engineering department to modify boost on the Type 59 superchargers, but was never put into production. This unit was designed to boost H.P. at lower rpm to compete with the Mercedes-Benz race cars with clutched superchargers. This is a one off Bugatti Factory prototype unit. It has been carefully cleaned and kept in its original state.
