A twin bladed wooden propeller from a circa 1928 de Havilland Puss Moth DH.80A, believed used by Jim Mollison, laminated hardwood with brass strips to leading edges, the hub stamped 'DRG NO Z 64, 80HP CIRRUS MK 2, RH' on one side and 'D6-4, P4-8, ACO 10459, JULY 1928' on the other, some tip damage, 193.5cm diameter; sold together with a detached wooden shard originally from the propeller for repair; a typed Christies lot ticket from 24 Feb 1976 for lot 331 '...from Cirrus Moth flown by James Mollison'; and a hand-written receipt from Soho Antique Restoration dated 16/7/76 stating 'Moth propeller, from plane flown by James Mollison';
