A rare Rene Lalique 'Cote D'Azur Pullman Express' Trophy glass statuette, French, dated 9 Decembre 1929, the forward leaning nude, giving an impression of speed and motion, her left hand is caressing her hair, her right hand placed on her upper chest, beautifully created in satin and clear glass, this trophy was originally conceived to mimic the design of the famous 'Vitesse' mascot, etched R.Lalique to side of the base, with full inscription around the base, including the date, 16.5cm high, two small chips to base.
