A fine cased 'En Route' picnic set for four persons, by Drew & Sons, circa 1909, black leather-cloth case, with riveted brass reinforced edges, brass handles, lock and catches, and lid with foot tread, with fall-front opening to reveal red leather-cloth lined interior with wicker framework, fitted with centrally stacked wicker-handled kettle, burner and saucepan, two glass drinks bottles with cups, seven food tins of assorted sizes, enamel tea-cups with wicker handles and accompanying saucers, with rectangular enamel plates housed behind leather straps in the lid, and cutlery fitted into the fall-front, the case measuring 49 x 26 x 34cm.
