Der Wiesmann MF28 Roadster wurde von der Wiesmann Motorenmanufaktur GmbH in Dülmen gefertigt und basiert auf einem Stahlrohrgitterrahmen mit GFK-Karosserie. Angetrieben wird das Fahrzeug von einem bewährten BMW-Sechszylindermotor der 328i-Baureihe mit 193 PS, gepaart mit einem 5-Gang-Schaltgetriebe ebenfalls aus bayerischer Fertigung. Bei einem Gewicht von nur rund 1.080 kg sorgt diese Kombination für ausgesprochen lebendige Fahrleistungen. Von dieser Ausführung wurden lediglich 47 Exemplare gefertigt.
