Volkswagen Passat 4.0 W8 4MOTION, 2003. Six owners, 117,864 km, service books from new.

Volkswagen, literally "the people's car" in German, has claimed a prominent place in automotive history since its founding in 1937. Born from a dream to build an affordable, reliable car for the masses, Volkswagen grew into a global symbol of quality and innovation. Models like the Beetle and the Golf have won hearts for generations. Yet Volkswagen also masters lesser known but extraordinarily interesting qualities, namely those of luxury and performance.

The Volkswagen Passat W8 4Motion: a wolf in sheep's clothing. The Passat, launched in 1973, is one of Volkswagen's most successful models. The W8 4Motion version, introduced in 2001, is a rare gem in this line with a unique 4.0-litre W8 engine. Technically a masterpiece, yet Volkswagen produced this engine for only a few years. The model marks a period in which Volkswagen ventured into the luxury segment with unprecedented performance. The combination of power, refinement and four-wheel drive makes this Passat a car that quickens the pulse of enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.

Step into the Volkswagen Passat W8 4Motion and feel how every fibre of this car has been designed to deliver an unforgettable drive. The moment you open the door, you are welcomed by the luxurious, beige interior that radiates timeless elegance. The carefully chosen materials, from the soft leather to the subtle wood finish, make you feel as though you are settling into a luxury lounge.

Every car here follows the same route: first pre-market, then the showroom, and finally the live auction on our own site. What changes is the way you buy, not the location — once a car has arrived, it stays with us in Katwijk. This one is in the showroom and you are welcome to come and see it, no appointment needed. You buy it here at a fixed price: no bidding, no waiting. Our showroom in Katwijk, 30 km from Amsterdam Schiphol, is open Mon–Fri 9–18 and Sat 10–17. Call ahead and it will be standing ready, with someone free for you.

Within the EU no customs duty arises on this purchase. Registration tax and registration costs in your own country are not included. We supply the export documents and assist with the registration. The price shown is the full price for collection in Katwijk. We arrange insured door-to-door transport worldwide, cost quoted per destination beforehand.

Prefer a different colour or specification than this example? Tell us what you are looking for — another Volkswagen we can often find through our network of marque specialists and collectors, outside the listings. Have one of your own: we buy exceptional cars outright, classic or modern.

Our showroom measures 6,000 m², with over 150 cars under one roof. You are just as welcome if you are not buying — walk around, take your time and enjoy the cars; sharing the enthusiasm is half of it.
