Trade-in car. We have acquired this original Karmann Beetle convertible in part exchange. Although in good condition, this Karmann Beetle does need some attention. The interior does have signs of wear, but is recoverable. The hood has wear and tear, but still closes neatly. It also has a tonneau cover. This Californian car has near to no corrosion, just a few superficial spots, but no structural rust. The sound chassis is in good condition. The light blue finish has a few blemishes which could lead you to decide to have the car re-sprayed as part of a larger restoration. On the other hand it is also quite feasible to keep the current paintwork if you plumbed to keep it all original. Mechanically sound, but the car would definitely benefit from a major service. The is a car that would do equally well as a restoration project or if you prefer your cars to have character to be left just as it is. In short a rather nice Beetle convertible in neat condition.
