This lovely 1971 Volkswagen Beetle 1600 convertible was mechanically overhauled and restored some while ago. The fine bodywork has nice and correctly fitting body panels. The sound underbody is rust-free. The metallic finish has a wonderful lustre. This Beetle has its correct 48 Hp, 1600 carburettor engine. The hood was recently replaced and is of a fine quality cloth, in keeping with the interior trim. Although not perfect, this Beetle is a joy to drive as well as being mechanically sound.
