The automobile was designed by Pininfarina and built by Austin and is the only non-Rolls-Royce car with a 4 litre 3909cc Rolls-Royce engine. The Princess is very luxuriously equipped with leather, burr wooden veneer and seats you don't have at home. It started with a 3-litre engine, the Vanden Plas 4-litre R was built from 1964 until 1968 with a Rolls-Royce engine. There were 6,555 units produced.

The Princess up for auction here dates back to 1966 and is in outstanding, original condition. The car drives, brakes and steers fine. But the sheet metal needs attention.
