The Triumph TR6 is a proper British roadster. The TR6 has a supple 2.5 straight-six engine attached to a 4-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. This American sourced TR6 has only clocked up some 42,960 miles. The Karmann styled bodywork is in a good original condition with nice and correctly aligned body panels. The car was supplied from new in rare Magenta colour lacquer. It has had one re-spray in the past and is currently in a neat state. The original hood is tidy and has a flush fit. The low-mileage combined with the fact that it was always kept garaged means that it never needed a restoration. It not often that one comes across such an original TR6! The TR6 has always had very good maintenance. There is an extensive folder with paperwork and invoices and even the original owner’s manual is still present. The good maintenance record means that the engine runs sweetly together with a sure-footed gearbox. The TR6 was celebrated for its roadholding when it was introduced, thanks to independent suspension hugs the road surface really well.
