bought from California ( black plate ) it was a perfect candidate for a nut and bolt restoration that was performed over a period of almost eight years.
the result was simply stunning, absolutely everything was done and the engine capacity was increased to 2200cc for more torque.
special attention went into the bodywork and after a period of seventeen years it looks absolutely flawless.
bucket seats, lucas foglights, wide 72 spoke wire wheels, mohair softtop and sidescreens, alternator with narrow fanbelt conversion, and sump protection were added. this car runs and drives as good as it did when the restoration was finished and is ready for many more years of fun driving.
