The Toyota GR Yaris is a high-performance variant of the regular Toyota Yaris developed by Gazoo Racing. This unique model is designed specifically for participation in the WRC championships. What makes the GR Yaris so special is that it is not a simply tuned version of the standard Yaris, but a completely redeveloped car. Instead of the usual 5-door bodywork, the GR Yaris has a wider 3-door version, with lightweight construction including a carbon fiber roof, aluminum hood and doors. Under the hood is one of the most powerful three-cylinder engines in the world, delivering 261 horsepower, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive. All this makes the GR Yaris a desirable, modern hot hatch with true rally DNA.
