Designed in 2003 and produced by Italian race car manufacturer Tampolli, the LMP2-675 sports-prototype chassis, as its model name suggests, was designed to contest the 675 kilo, LMP2 junior class in both the Le Mans Endurance Series and the American Le Mans Series. Although often powered by a 3.4 litre, Cosworth V8 engine, a variety of other suitable power units has also been successfully used.

Chassis 012LMP/675/2003 was campaigned in the LMES championship throughout 2004 by Italian team SCI before being imported to Great Britain where it is eligible for, and would surely be competitive in, the Britcar Championship, while also being eligible for several European series and other championships.
