- A very pure design
- Carefully restored
- A great French brand, with a rare body style

This beautiful Talbot Baby Sport convertible was sold new in 1935 to a doctor in Rouen. Contrary to what its name suggests, this "Baby" is equipped with a comfortable six-cylinder 3-liter engine giving it excellent performance. In 1987, this Talbot passed into the hands of a Mr Engel from Lalonde (Seine Maritime), who in turn sold it in 1996 to Mr. Houdayer (Passionauto), who very immediately transferred it to its current owner. He had the car restored, with the necessary replacement of the wooden frame structure, choosing a new midnight blue color that suits the car perfectly. The red leather interior, which has a beautiful patina, has been retained, with the exception of the front seats that have been redone but which blend perfectly with the older elements, with a high quality of workmanship.
In 2002, the alpaca coat, a part of the upholstery and the carpets were replaced. The engine has also been the subject of a complete overhaul in 2006, with repairs to the cylinder head, replacement of thee connecting rods, piston pins and rings, the grinding of the heads... the mechanical work totaling up to 8,000. The radiator was redone in 2003. The chrome is in good condition. A test drive in company of the owner showed very satisfactory operating condition, the car having been restored and maintained in order to be driven. The Wilson box is in an entirely satisfactory state too.
This four-seater convertible features a line of rare elegance, the hood retracts completely, and does not disturb the waistline by an unsightly bulge. This pattern of high purity associated with a prestigious brand, brilliant mechanicals, a rare and sought after body makes this car a great opportunity for any lover of great classics.
