This pretty Simca coupé with its Bertone coachwork is a Swiss delivery and was handed over to its first owner through Garage Rudolf Flückiger in Aarwangen on the 18th of October 1963. An old oil change tag with then 29’767 kilometres noted would indicate that the owner remained faithful to this garage until in the early 70s, with then around 30’000 kilometres, the car was stored. Sometime before being taken over by the last owner's family in March 2013, the Simca was taken out of its hibernation and the coachwork repainted in its original colour. The clock then showed 34’277 kilometres and the condition of the original interior would let us believe that this corresponds with the true mileage. As a mechanic with a small collection, the new owner took care of the maintenance himself but only drove the little coupé sparingly. His records indicate that in 2019 an overhauled Weber carb of the type 32 ICB-2 was installed and the speedo overhauled at the same time. In 2022 the car was taken over by his daughter which only drove the same car very little herself. With now 35’900 kilometres indicated the car is in good, very original condition and will be sold with the last Veteran MOT from May 2023.
