Sbarro Espera Turbo S20 – AMG V8 – One-of-a-Kind Example Worldwide

This Sbarro Espera is a one-of-a-kind car developed by Franco Sbarro and his students to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the French TV show Turbo on M6.

To achieve this, the students of Franco Sbarro’s school – “Espera” in Montbéliard – modified a tubular chassis sourced from a 1991 Isdera Imperator 108i, into which they mounted, in a central position, a Mercedes AMG V8 producing 350 horsepower, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.

The car belongs to a private collector who has taken great care of it and recently undertook significant mechanical work. The engine (AMG V8 from the E500) has been thoroughly overhauled, the transmission as well, and the running gear has been refreshed. All this work amounts to €50,000 in invoices available with the car.

The car has a Swiss registration certificate and is currently located in Paris.
