Enthusiasts waited anxiously when it was announced that the successor to the Rolls Royce Ghost was going to be introduced in 2013. The Wraith is based on the Ghost and has a distinctive extended coupé shape. The Rolls-Royce Wraith has a 6.6L twin-turbo V12 engine with 632 hp and a torque of 800 Nm.

The two-door coupé sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. The electronic speed limitation kicks in at 250 km/h. This Rolls-Royce has more power than the Ghost with its 563 hp. Moreover, the Wraith in many ways harks back to history, which makes it extra interesting.

The name Wraith dates back to the 1930s. In 1938, the Wraith was introduced as a replacement for the 20 HP series. After WW2, Rolls-Royce came up with the Silver Wraith, with an automatic gearbox as an option. The current Rolls-Royce Wraith is full of technical gadgets. The automatic gearbox adapts to the environment via satellite information. For example, the gearbox uses Satellite Aided Transmission, which uses GPS to recognize bends and roundabouts whilst adjusting the gear to the environment. This system also takes into account the driving style of the driver.

Speech recognition, the Spirit Rotary Ecstacy Controller (a kind of iDrive with touchpad), active cruise and self-braking collision detection; these are just a few examples of the technical innovations in this Wraith. A multifunctional trackpad controls the central multimedia display. The Rolls-Royce Wraith is very similar to the Ghost, but has a less traditional design. As with the Ghost, the doors open to the back. The Wraith can accommodate four occupants and has enough space in the boot for extra luggage.

This very well-maintained Rolls Royce is in original condition (engine, transmission and interior are original). The car starts immediately, shifts smoothly and powerfully through all gears and brakes properly. The interior is still in beautiful condition as shown in the pictures. The car has the original booklets, 2 original RR umbrellas (which of course should not be missing) and the very extensive dealer options list (as shown in the pictures).
