An exceptionally original 1979 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith II, with just 15,270 miles from new and a remarkable history of single-family ownership.
The Silver Wraith II was the long-wheelbase counterpart to the Silver Shadow II, offering an additional four inches of rear legroom and a more formal, elegant profile. Only 2,135 examples were produced between 1977 and 1980, making good, original cars increasingly difficult to find.

This example is finished in its wonderfully period combination of Ivory with Vaumol Brown hide and has spent its life carefully preserved in secure garaged storage.

The car has remained within the same family from new. It was gifted by the owner's father to his daughter on her 16th birthday in 1997 and has remained in her ownership ever since. The four former keepers recorded on the V5C reflect registrations between family members and a family business rather than changes of family ownership.

By 2008, the car had covered approximately 14,850 miles. Following a period in storage, it was recommissioned in 2016 by Jack Barclay Bentley, Wandsworth, with approximately £12,000+ spent on servicing, brakes, electrical work, seals and sympathetic cosmetic attention.

In 2024, the car was recommissioned again by respected Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialist Gordon Dale Enterprises Ltd., with £2,438 of further work carried out through November 2025. This included fuel pumps, inspection and mechanical attention, overhaul of the nearside front hub assembly, steering rack attention, screenwasher and speedometer repairs, a new battery and central locking repair.

It subsequently passed its MOT with no advisories, valid until November 2026.

What makes this car particularly special is its preservation. It has never required wholesale restoration and retains the character and craftsmanship of an exceptionally low-mileage Rolls-Royce of the period.
