- High quality restoration
- Exquisite colour combination
- Rare, especially in this condition

The Rolls-Royce "Corniche" was first presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1971. It was, in fact, a cabriolet version of the Silver Shadow, given a name that must surely come from the famous road between Nice and Monte Carlo. New, it cost around 40% more than the saloon, and was produced in much smaller numbers. In 1977 the Corniche II appeared, displaying certain aesthetic refinements and mechanical improvements.
The model presented was sold new in Switzerland. The car was restored between 2008 and 2011 by the former president of the " Rolls Royce French drivers club " to enable him to use this splendid Corniche himself. We have no records of the restoration, but the condition of the car speaks for itself, and the test-drive we carried out was very satisfactory. The coachwork is extremely sound and straight with perfectly aligned doors. The interior is immaculate and the engine smooth and silent. The Tisserand workshop maintained the car in 2012, and in addition to a general service, the steering ball joints and rear shock absorbers were replaced and the hydraulic suspension was refurbished at this time. A period Becker Grand Prix radio was also installed. Increasingly sought after, the price of these elegant and sophisticated coup‚s continues to rise. A sound investment.
