In 1976 this beautiful Rolls Royce Corniche Coupe was supplied to the now deceased Amsterdam real estate mogul Maurits “Maup”Caransa. Beside the fact that this Corniche had a famous owner, it was also the car from which he was kidnapped on the 28th October 1977! This Corniche is in top condition with correctly aligned rust-free body panels. The interior trim is very neat and has a wonderful patina. Even the original lambs woollen carpets are still in a remarkable good condition and are also to be found lining the luggage space. This model Corniche was the first Rolls Royce to have two-zone air-conditioning. Of course this Corniche has all the luxury accoutrements one would expect to find in a Rolls Royce. The multi-layered widows are operated automatically. Rolls Royce only produced 780 of this particular model. The 6.75 Litre V8 is coupled to a 3-speed automatic gearbox. The car is fully original with matching numbers. To complement the interior the roof was originally ordered in green. You can really appreciate the enormous amount of servicing and maintenance carried out over the years. The engine runs beautifully serene and the automatic shifts smoothly allowing the car to take to the road as beholds a Rolls Royce.
