- Ancient model
- Authentic enthusiast's project
- No reserve
This Renault is an incomplete tourer, lacking the rear section. The club "Les Renault d'avant-guerre" (The Prewar Renaults) helped us to identify this car, and provided the following information: "This car is a 12HP Type EU, powered by a four-cylinder 80x140 engine, mated to a four-speed gearbox, and derived from the Type EF of 1914. Its chassis has a wheelbase of 3.30 meters and the track is 1.34 meters. It was produced from 1917 to 1920, the first examples being made before the end of World War I, which were mostly Military tourers and different utility bodies. This 12HP was the one of the most produced Renaults chassis in the immediate postwar period."
With its disc wheels, this car features all the traditional attributes of Renaults from this period, starting with the famous "crocodile" cover that allowed excellent engine access, and the brass radiator located behind. Potentially a beautiful restoration project, for the courageous enthusiast!
