The 718 Cayman joined the range Porsche in April 2016 where it was first shown at the Beijing Motor Show. The 718 featured a new horizontally opposed flat 4 turbocharged engine. The Cayman GTS was introduced in October 2017 with their 2.5 litre engines rated at 365 PS (360 hp; 268 kW). The exterior of the 718 series cars was more of an evolution from the previous generation car. The main changes of the 718 Cayman are to the rear of the car and to the headlights and front bumper. On the interior the big change was the new PCM 4.0 infotainment system.
