Introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1991, the latter boasted a 5.4-litre engine producing all of 345bhp  and automatics were fitted with the much faster responding 'Dynamic Kickdown' gearboxes setting them apart from the previous models. The GTS model also benefitted from a complete electrical revamp, eradicating the problems of past models.nd in this form the 928 lasted in production until the model's deletion in 1995. </div><div><br /></div><div>This particular model is one of the last 928s to be built in their last year of production and benefits from a full Porsche Main Dealer history from new, including the PDI inspection stamps. In total there are 49 stamps in the book, including gearbox and airbag services, and the car has never been serviced other than by official Porsche engineers. The indicated mileage is 141,000. The car also benefits from a factory built, stainless steel liner, replacement engine fitted by Porsche under warranty. These engines are incredibly rare as they were only built by Porsche to overcome the excessive oil burn the V8 suffered from and were only ever hand built. This engine has only covered 60k since it was fitted and is backed up by emails from the supplying dealer. </div><div>According to our vendor, the coachwork is “Excellent without any dents, the paintwork is factory original and 8/10, the trim is immaculate, the engine is silky smooth without any leaks, the transmission performs perfectly with the kickdown working smoothly in every gear, and the electrics are problem free”</div><div> The car has refurbished wheels and has been regularly detailed by Ultimate Finish of Brands Hatch, where it is kept in climate controlled storage, complete with bespoke fitted cotton cover.</div><div>This is a lovely example with a comprehensive history.
