I have for sale my Land Rover Series III, 6 cylinders petrol, that I have fully rebuilt under the idea of creating an amazing Green over Tan concept.
This unit, as all 6 cylinders petrols in Portugal, was a former fire fighter car, as only fire departments and military were allowed to get them in Portugal at the time. All other mush be diesel.

I have done extensive rebuilt to this land rover to create a singular unit.

Bodywork

All panels wholes for firefighter were filled with aluminium welding;
All very minor oxidisation points were cleared;
All bare metal structures and parts, like bumper, windscreen, chassi side top covers, etc, were galvanised - not painted;
All locking mechanisms - doors, back door, back door chains, supports, all door hinges, rear view mirrors are brand new;
All rubbers, windows, front vents, doors, rear doors, front bonnet, etc, are new;
All canvas structures is new and galvanised, together with brand now canvas with plastic windows. All small supports for ropes and stings are new;
All lights, blinkers, presence lights, brake lights, front grill;
All riveting and paint is brand new - 3 months old.

Mechanically

Engine wise, the car was actually in good shape, strong and uniform piston compression;
It was an electrical fuel pump, carburettor rebuilt;
Plenty of new parts like fuel return filter, pipping and fasteners;
New ignition coil, sparks, HT leads, Main coil to distributer cap lead, new distributer cap and interior;
Brakes have been fully rebuilt, pads, pistons, pump and cylinder;
Both clutch pumps are new;
New exhaust manifold gaskets and short, lovely side exhaust with great sound!
New battery with interior power cut;
Water pump rebuilt, new radiator interior, fan belt and radiation inlet and outlet hoses, with revised and revised thermostat;
New engine bay details like radiator and oil tap;
Differential was revised together with the AVM front lockable front hubs;
Brand new wheel with 5 brand new BFGoodrich MudTerrain tires;
Not in the pictures, the car has its side windows in perfect shape, body colour painted, with its protection seals.

Interior and Details

The car as rebuilt seats - including a 3rd middle one not in picture, with genuine cognac leather;
Genuine cognac leather dash and same coloured lower dash;
Central wood center console, covered in genuine cognac leather with a fully functional Marshall speaker for bluetooth streaming;
All minor details like the gear levers tops are brand new;
Back deck, front driver and passenger footwell are in solid mahogany wood, treated and put together with beautiful bronze stainless steel.

The car has running MOT and drives beautifully, sounds amazing and it is such a joy. A truly special unit.
