Die Weltpremiere des Porsche Carrera RS fand am Pariser Salon im Oktober 1972 statt. Ursprünglich plante man eine limitierte Auflage von nur 500 Exemplaren, doch noch bevor der Porsche RS der Presse vorgestellt wurde, war die gesamte Auflage von 500 Stück komplett ausverkauft. Im März des kommenden Jahres war es soweit, und man begann mit dem Bau der zweiten Serie, auch aufgrund der großen Nachfrage, aber vor allem um eine Homologation in der Gruppe 3 zu ermöglichen.

Dieser weitgehend original erhaltene Porsche 911 2,7 RS wurde 1973 als Touring (M472) über die Porsche-Vertretung Glöckler in Frankfurt ausgeliefert, wo er seitdem immer beheimatet war. Die Lackierung in Blutorange und die eingeschlagene Motornummer entsprechen gemäß vorliegenden Unterlagen der Auslieferung. Als frühes Exemplar der 1. Serie befindet sich der Wagen in einem wunderschönen teilrestaurierten Originalzustand. Eine seltene Gelegenheit, einen authentischen RS in ansprechender Farbkombination zu einem sehr interessanten Preis zu erwerben!

The world premiere of the Porsche Carrera RS took place at the Salon Paris in October 1972. Originally it was planned to produce only a limited quantity of 500 exam-ples, but even before the Porsche RS was presented to the press, the whole edition was completely sold out. In March of the following year ones started with the production of the second series also because of the great demand but most of all to enable the homologation for the group 3.

This largely original, preserved Porsche 911 2.7 RS was delivered in 1973 as a Touring (M472) by the Porsche representative Glöckler in Frankfurt. Since then the car has been always registered in Germany. The blood orange paintwork and the stamped engine number correspond to the delivery according to the available documents. This first series Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 is in a beautiful partly restored original condition. As an early example of the 1st series and with its partially restored original condition this Carrera stands out in any crowd. A rare opportunity to purchase an authentic RS in an attractive colour combination at a very interesting price!
