The 911 C series was presented by Porsche in August 1970 as the 1971 model year. This series introduced an increase in displacement from 2.0 to 2.2 litres, engines with cast aluminium-magnesium alloy crankcases, standard stabiliser bars on all models and ventilated disc brakes. Compared to the previous series, the C introduced anti-corrosion treatment on the floorpan and offered increased power on all models. The S was the top of the range and with the power increase to 180 horsepower was one of the most powerful road-going GTs of the time. Due to Bjorn Waldegaard's victory in 1970 with a 911 2.2 S/T with a strictly production engine, in competition, thanks to its racy engine and proverbial lightness and agility, it became the car to beat in rallies and circuit races.

If originality is the priority of every Porsche collector and enthusiast, they will certainly find in this 2.2 S an example that is hard to find elsewhere. Chassis 9111300211 was produced at the Stuttgart works in October 1970, with an invoice date of 1 October 1970. The car was ordered in the Cordoba Rotmetallica 106-R-7 colour scheme and fitted with the following optional extras, which it still retains today:
421 Front bumper without rostrums
429 White fog lights
651 Electric windows
425 Rear windscreen wiper
568 Catalytic glazing
21 Brown leatherette sports seats

It was registered in Milan on 9 November 1970 by the first owner, Yamato SRL. On 28 November 1974 the car was sold in Padua, changing the Milan plates with the ones it still has today. The new owner, a Padua enthusiast, kept it, using it very rarely until 1994, when he sold it to his cousin, a notary public. He kept the car until he sold it to the depositor, but never used it because he was afraid to drive it in traffic. The current owner has subsequently carried out a light paint job on the bodywork in order to keep the car in pristine condition. The kilometres indicated are less than 43,000 and a careful examination of the car suggests that these are its original kilometres, as the instruments have never been altered.

The car underwent a thorough interior detailing in 2021 and a general overhaul where the engine, gearbox and differential oil, spark plugs, pins, air filter, oil filter and petrol filter were replaced. The car then underwent the regular ministerial overhaul. The car is fitted with new Michelin XWX 195/70-15 tyres. The car is absolutely original in every part, retaining its bottoms with the original sealing points.

Complete and preserved like few other 2.2 S on the market, this 911 is undoubtedly a connoisseur's choice. With a clear history and fitted with a sample colour, it is a top collector's piece that will retain its value over time.
