The company stripped the shell back to bare metal and rebuilt it, with no shortcuts taken, to reproduce an authentic RS bodyshell to an extremely high standard. They then sourced and fitted a later 3.2 Carrera engine and gearbox and revised later suspension and brakes to easily handle this increase in power and performance. The bills on file suggest this work cost in excess of £100,000 at the time.</p><p>The car was imported to the UK in 2016 and then offered for sale by a specialist Porsche dealer and sold for £125,000.
